On Stage Solutions, LLC is a small business based in Wilmington, North Carolina, USA, Earth, Milky Way Galaxy.
How small? This is literally a one-man-band-operation. I have spent ten years working on the road with entertainers, from club gigs on up to stadium tours. I have seen products fail miserably when put to the real test of a grueling tour environment, I have also seen products stand tall, and continue working nightly without fail. These are the products I am interested in, and offer for sale. My customers are my lifeline, without you, there simply is no me, I respect and honor that relationship. I also know that I can be a bit long-winded, so if I'm boring you, please stop right here and go explore around the store feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. If you wish to be bored further, then by all means, feel free to keep on reading, and pardon my stupid sense of humor!
So I can't compete with the "Guitar Centers" and the "Musician's Friends" of the world, which is why I keep my markup as low as possible and try to offer the best customer service experience possible. If you place an order, and the mail carrier has already come (and time permits), I will personally drive it out to the post office to get it on it's way to you that day. My packaging ain't fancy, in fact, it's 99% recycled from inbound shipments, and you will get 100% honesty with me, even if it means missing out on a sale if I have to refer you to a competitor. In four years of doing this, I have found that people appreciate this level of honesty and come back as return customers.

Whenever I do business with a person or a company that stands out by providing a superior product or service, I like to personally recommend them. These are companies whom I have either worked for, or done business with, and I am more than happy to highly recommend the following:
(These are not paid endorsements)
I get a few inquiries each month about instrument repair. The person I refer them to is a very talented, professional, and certified luthier right here in Wilmington, NC by the name of Joel Reed. His company, Guitar Lab, offers fretted instrument repair services on acoustic, electric & bass guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, etc., and has been in business since 2003.
You can check out some of the work that comes across his workbench on his social media sites that show some of the many types of repairs, from simple string-swaps and setups to pickup installation to neck transplants. His craftsmanship is top notch, his technical knowledge reflects his passion for music gear, and his prices are fair and very reasonable.
What I really like about Guitar Lab is that when you drop off your instrument, whether it’s a priceless, one-of-a-kind museum piece, or a knock-around beater-axe that Aunt Louise left you in her will, Joel takes the time to listen to you, address any concerns you may have, and enjoys answering questions and sharing his knowledge about gear. Every time he and I speak, I always come away learning something new.
Joel’s turn-around times are advertised to be a very reasonable 1-2 weeks depending on workload, though I don’t ever remember any of my guitars taking longer than a week. Every instrument is treated with respect and handled carefully by him, and only him. There are no crazy sales pitches or up-sells to be prepared for, you simply tell him what you want done, and he does it, followed by a call, text, or email once it’s ready, simple as that. Leave your credit cards at home, and he doesn’t accept bitcoin…or wampum, cash or checks only.
The days of handing your precious guitar to the “dude” behind the counter who’s introduction (whether you need it or not) includes the long version of the time he played with Steppenwolf for 8 “almost” sold-out shows when their guitarist had to leave the tour to check in to rehab are over! Talk directly to the person who will be working on your instrument! Some of Joel’s repairs include Setup, Fretboard Clean & Buff, Tuner Installation, Pickup Installation, Acoustic Pickup Installation, Complete Guitar Wiring, String Changing, Custom Nuts, Acoustic Bridge Repair, Neck Heat Treatment, and Fret Dress. Please view his website for further details and contact info. www.GuitarLab.org
If you need to secure transportation for an upcoming tour, Four Seasons Coach Leasing will take good care of your band and/or crew. Their friendly staff has many years of experience in the entertainment transportation industry, and are experts in all areas of tour logistics. Their entire fleet is constantly being updated to provide the latest technology, and each bus comes with a safe, experienced driver who will get you there safe and sound.
If you are thinking of building or upgrading a custom coach conversion, I highly recommend Superior Coach. They build some of the nicest luxury custom coach interiors I've ever seen and had the pleasure to drive. The owner is a former driver with many years of rock tours under his belt, who drove long before tour-busses evolved into the luxury coaches that you see on the road and backstage today. Superior Coach is not limited to entertainer coaches, they can build a custom interior to suit any application, from motorhomes to rolling doctor offices to mobile command units. If you can imagine it, they can build it.
Anybody who is in the market for a high-end speaker system owes it to themselves to have a serious look at a company called Audioengine. What sets Audioengine apart from everyone else is the level of quality that goes in to every one of their products. The owners of the company bring years of experience from working in the pro audio and consumer electronics industries at several big name companies, and a true passion to produce audio equipment that is described as "extremely sweet-sounding with fantastic imaging and big bass at low volume levels, but really kicks-butt when cranked up." These guys spent hundreds of hours in the listening booth fine-tuning and tweaking these speakers, resulting in products capable of faithfully reproducing not only lossless recordings, but compressed files at decent bit rates as well. Best of all, their pricing is surprisingly low for the quality you are getting. Better still, they offer a generous 30-day "audition" period if purchased from their website (audioengineusa.com). They continually receive countless awards, praise, and positive reviews from reputable sources, we rock out to four-year-old first generation A5 and A2 models EVERY day, and I swear they sound sweeter now than they did when they were new.
